thermoelectric cooling question?

Thermoelectric peltiers have a lot of excess heat on the opposite side of the cooling side.
I head for cooling a cpu you will need a liquid cooler on the hot side of the peltier.
How do water coolers (The drinking dispensers) and thermoelectric fridges cool their hot side of the peltier.

TEC based cooling systems have a radiatior (usually fan forced) that lets the heat radiate into the room, or
if in heating mode, absorbs room heat. Because of their efficiency, you usually need a pretty big radiator though. Using liquid (not necessarily water) allows you to to locate a larger radiator outside of where you can otherwise install it.

Refrigerant based cooling systems are the same, except that the evaporator (cold side) and condensor (hot side) can be separated.

Remember, you cannot “make” cool, only move heat away.
